Ms. Gao's intellectual property law practice focuses on client counseling and acquisition and enforcement of patent rights. She has prosecuted numerous U.S. and foreign patent applications involving automotive technology, medical devices, optical fibers and optical systems, packaging devices, superconductors, semiconductors, and textiles, as well as sporting and other consumer goods. During her years of practice, she has advised clients on matters of patentability, validity, infringement and freedom-to-operate issues. She also has assisted in patent litigation matters. Ms. Gao has practiced Chinese Patent Law in Beijing and Hong Kong.
